Job Description Core Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat:diseases and conditions of the dental pulp and periapical tissues, such as infections, inflammation, and abscesses. - Perform root canal therapy:and endodontic retreatment. - Conduct endodontic surgery,including procedures like apicoectomies. - Manage traumatic dental injuries,such as fractures and displacements. - Administer anesthetics:to ensure patient comfort during procedures. Patient Care and Communication: - Educate patients:on their diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care. - Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists:to provide comprehensive patient care. - Prescribe medications,such as antibiotics and pain relievers, as needed. - Provide emergency endodontic care:when necessary. Administrative and Professional Duties: - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records:and treatment histories. - Use advanced diagnostic tools:and specialized equipment. - Ensure compliance:with infection control and safety protocols. - Stay updated on the latest advancements:in endodontic techniques and technologies through continuing education.
