Come, join the pack Position Overview: The Logistics Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods within the personal care company's supply chain. This position involves overseeing various aspects of logistics, including transportation, distribution, inventory management, and vendor relations. Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Management: - Coordinate and monitor the entire supply chain process, from product manufacturing to delivery to customers. - Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and optimize supply chain efficiency. 2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels to meet customer demand. 3. Transportation and Distribution: - Work with transportation providers to optimize routes and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. - Oversee the distribution network, ensuring that products reach their destination on time and in good condition. 4. Vendor Management: - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers. - Negotiate contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and service agreements. 5. Process Improvement: - Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics function. - Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.6. Compliance and Regulations: - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations. 7. Reporting: - Prepare and analyze logistics reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to assess and improve overall logistics performance. Qualifications: 1. Proven 2-3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the personal care or consumer goods industry. 2. Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes. 3. Excellent organizational and communication skills. 4. Proficient in using MS excel/ Google sheets for logistics 5. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. 6. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
