Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance across direct and indirect taxes. This role is suited for individuals who are eager to grow in a structured finance environment with strong fundamentals in accounting and taxation. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily accounting operations including: - Journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations - Accounts receivable and accounts payable - Vendor payments and customer invoicing - Ensure statutory compliance and timely filing of: - GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations) - TDS payments, returns (Form 26Q, 27Q), and certificate issuance - Income Tax provisions, advance tax, and other applicable financial compliances - Assist in preparation of: - Monthly MIS reports - Audit schedules and statutory audit support - Cash flow statements and financial analysis as required - Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes - Coordinate with external consultants (CAs, auditors, etc.) on compliance and filing matters Qualifications - Education: - (mandatory) - CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA (preferred) - Experience: - 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance - Internship experience in a CA firm or finance function is an added advantage Required Skills Technical SkillsSoft SkillsSound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and basic financial controlsHigh attention to detail and accuracyHands-on experience with Tally ERPStrong problem-solving mindsetProficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)Effective communication and teamworkWorking understanding of GST, TDS & Income Tax rulesAbility to manage timelines and multitask
