Lead Data Engineer - Azure Cloud We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to build and manage a robust data platform on Azure Cloud. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensure data quality, and leverage cloud technologies for efficient data processing. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Event Hubs. - Design and implement ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation and storage in Data Lake/Synapse Analytics. - Create efficient data models and ensure best practices for storage and retrieval. - Implement data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting for pipeline reliability. - Collaborate with architects and analysts; document workflows and processes. - Optimize Azure resources for performance and cost; ensure security and governance compliance. Qualifications - 8+ years in data engineering or similar role. - Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark. - Hands-on with ETL/ELT, data modeling, data lakes, and warehousing. - Familiarity with APIs, streaming data (Kafka/Event Hubs), and batch processing. Good to Have: Azure Purview, Delta Lake, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Terraform), Power BI. Education - Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Interested?
