Job title Solar Design Solar PV Exp 8 to 10 years Company Name Rayforge Solar Integration Private Limited Location Sri City Andhra Pradesh Key Responsibilities Electrical System Design Design electrical layouts for solar projects including single-line diagrams SLD cable routing and grounding systems Perform load flow short circuit and protection coordination studies Equipment Selection Specify and select electrical components such as inverters transformers switchgear and protection devices Ensure compatibility with project requirements and standards Site Assessments Conduct site inspections to determine cable routing inverter placement and grid interconnection points Assess shading and site-specific electrical challenges Compliance and Standards Ensure designs meet local and international standards IEC NEC IS Coordinate with authorities for grid connectivity and electrical approvals Testing and Commissioning Supervise testing and commissioning of electrical systems including performance testing of inverters and transformers Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation Project Documentation Prepare electrical design calculations bill of materials BOM and as-built drawings Develop O M manuals and test reports for client handovers Collaboration Work closely with structural and civil engineers to ensure electrical designs integrate seamlessly Support procurement and construction teams in material selection and installation processes Qualifications and Skills Educational Qualification Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering Experience 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on solar or renewable energy projects Technical Skills Proficiency in electrical design tools AutoCAD Electrical ETAP PVsyst Knowledge of grid-tied solar systems power distribution and protection systems 1 Develop and prepare detailed proposals Bills of Materials BOM generation analysis and preliminary designs for solar projects 2 Enter and manage lead data into Zoho CRM for tracking and follow-up purposes 3 Coordinate with clients for departmental approvals design feedback and project progress updates 4 Provide detailed technical design work for solar projects ensuring compliance with project requirements and specifications 5 Identify and source tenders from various online platforms and other sources 6 Study and thoroughly understand the requirements outlined in tenders to ensure accurate and competitive bidding 7 Prepare tender summaries and all necessary bid documentation according to the specified tender requirements 8 Monitor the continuous progress of the tender submission process ensuring timely and accurate submissions 9 Utilize technical software such as AutoCAD PVSyst and MS Office for design work analysis and documentation tasks Soft Skills Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and coordination skills Job Type Full-time Pay 60 000 00 - 100 000 00 per month Expected Start Date 01 10 2025
