what we call our Strategic Priorities - but we never lose sight of the fact that we only truly win when the company wins The Finance function operates as a global team through the partnership of a series of enterprise-focused and business-embedded groups Purpose of the role This role exists to provide work direction and support for a team that directly interact with the Global Emerging Market GEMS Region Responsibilities require functional expertise in finance and accounting internal controls strong business acumen and communication skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in managing the complete P L KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 70 of Time Curation and Management of Finance Team Partnership Client Service Management Manage team that owns Financial forecasting reporting Peak support for the GEMS business unit Point of contact for Business Finance teams some key stakeholders for all in-scope activities Partner with Heads of finance in each cluster to deliver required results Actively develop team to build best-in-class trusted partnerships with finance and business stakeholders Has end-to-end process knowledge Responsible for compliance with General Mills policies and internal controls Oversee and accountable for all Central Forecast Team deliverables and responsibilities Submission of Financial Forecast PEAK support Reporting Analysis ad-hoc stakeholder support with resolution of any issues in a timely manner and always ensuring compliance with the relevant internal controls Deliver on established service level targets and metrics Planning and execution of business continuity Create an environment of continuous improvement to simplify or automate work Responsible for compliance with General Mills policies and internal controls Provides work direction and support to team establishes daily priorities monitors progress against team goals Work Collaborate on Site wide initiatives 20 of Time Employee Development Build and develop a team of integrated Finance Leaders and Subject Matter Experts SMEs Performance Management for Team members Objective setting PA Mid-year IDP Build a strong team culture within Mumbai office Cross training to always ensure adequate backup coverage for all activities Recruiting new team members as per requirement 10 of Time Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency Lead efforts to understand what s working what isn t and lead plans to adjust approach on One Team culture MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Full Time graduation from an accredited university Mandatory Professional Certification CA ICWA MBA 8 years of related experience Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Strong situational agility comfort navigating ambiguity and thought leadership Strong ability to lead coach and develop a team Strong knowledge and expertise in forecasting reporting and analysis Business partnership ability to effectively manage and navigate many stakeholders Anticipates future customer needs and accelerates what is possible Growth Mindset Organizational savvy -
