The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic and responsive WordPress websites. You should have experience building custom themes and plugins, integrating third-party tools, and optimizing websites for performance and SEO. Key Responsibilities - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client and internal requirements. - Convert PSD/Figma designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites. - Implement and customize third-party plugins such as WooCommerce, ACF, WPML, and membership tools. - Optimize websites for speed, scalability, Core Web Vitals, and overall SEO performance. - Create and manage custom post types (CPTs), taxonomies, and shortcodes. - Ensure websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and aligned with web accessibility standards. - Debug and troubleshoot technical issues across different browsers and devices. - Collaborate with design, backend, and marketing teams for seamless project execution. - Handle database design, queries, and optimization in MySQL / MS SQL Server. - Deploy, manage, and maintain websites on LAMP/LEMP environments. Required Skills & Qualifications - 1–2 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development. - Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Expertise in custom theme and plugin development. - Experience working with the WordPress REST API and custom post types. - Knowledge of WooCommerce, WPML, ACF, and membership plugins like Restrict Content Pro. - Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and query optimization. - Solid knowledge of SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and Core Web Vitals. - Familiarity with LAMP/LEMP server environments. - Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and within a team.
