Job Requirements1 Bachelors degree in Automobile Mechanical Engineering 2 Strong understanding and exposure to various special purpose machines functions components 3 Create models concept drawings for Special Purpose Machines using SolidWorks 4 Responsible to work with modelling detailing and releasing team in completing the design as per requirement and publishing the drawings 5 Overseeing the concept design of special purpose machines ensuring designs meet customer specifications and industry standards 6 Good knowledge of GD T drawing knowledge manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication welding machining and heat surface treatment to inform design decisions is expected 7 Evaluating and selecting appropriate bought-out components such as motors cylinders and pneumatic actuators bearings for integration into machine designs and for proper machine functionality 8 Utilizing Teamcenter PLM for effective management of product lifecycle processes ensuring documentation and design changes are tracked and communicated 9 Engaging with multiple stakeholders to understand the client requirements provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or feedback 10 Leading initiatives for design optimization and process improvements based on feedback and lessons learned from previous projects 11 Successful completion of projects within given timelines 12 Quality assurance metrics reflecting minimal defects and reworkWork Experience Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or any related field Good Experience in SolidWorks 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design or drawing review Strong drawing reading skills and experience in SPM Excellent grasp of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance Ability to guide engineers regarding changes with respect to technical correctness of the model Women Engineer is preferred
