About Company Our client is a tech forward outsourcing company specializing in supporting the US Mortgage Insurance and Banking industries We specialize in end-to-end component-based outsourcing managing one-off projects to becoming an extension of the customer service or operations team Our team is built on industry expertise and provides the traction clients need to grow their company Equipped with diverse tools platforms solutions and services we strive to work towards our mission to positively impact the financial health of companies by powering in-house processes using top talent workflow best practices and progressive technology An Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be experienced in reviewing and verifying borrower documentation for loan processing proficient in liaising with loan officers underwriters and clients to resolve documentation issues capable of meeting TAT and quality standards while handling escalations and supporting data-driven decisions and a collaborative team player who leads by example to maintain a stable and motivated work environment Key Competencies 1 Review and analyse the mortgage loan application to ensure eligibility accuracy completeness and compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines to minimize risk factors 2 Review all required loan data reports and inspections to insure the collateral is acceptable to investor and the company 3 Knowledge of Lending Underwriting Guidelines Credit Income Analysis Cash Flow Analysis Risk Assessment Loan-to-Value Ratios Debt-to-Income Ratios 4 Review Initial application - Verify loan property borrowers information with other available documents - Verify borrower s monthly income and expenses - Verify other relevant sections Review all the documents related to borrower s Credit Capacity Collateral and Capital 5 Calculate asset required for closing and reserve purpose for the transaction as per guideline 6 Responsible for making independent decisions regarding acceptance and risk of loans according to HUD company and investor guidelines 7 Provides final approval underwriting of mortgage loans 8 Completes all required paperwork and forms in a timely and accurate manner prepares required forms 9 Sign off conditions in a timely manner set by management 10 Work with staff and management to find solutions on escalated loans 11 May be requested to make recommendations for improving Internal Audit s policies and practices Manage loans by using all functions of Encompass 12 Effectively communicate underwriting decisions with processors and advisors 13 Maintain high level of customer service and communication with other departments 14 Other duties as assigned Qualification
