The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL/PLSQL capabilities, a solid understanding of data warehousing, and hands-on experience with tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataform, and Pub/Sub. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions and drive performance optimisation across data workflows. What You Will Do - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions. - Implement data integration solutions to ingest, process, and store structured and unstructured data. - Optimise and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. - Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, cleansing, and transformation. - Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata for analytics and reporting. - Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues, ensuring minimal disruption. - Stay current with GCP technologies and recommend improvements. - Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
