Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Database Architect / SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of experience in database architecture, modeling, SQL development, and performance optimization. This role involves working on high-volume, multi-tenant SaaS systems and designing enterprise-grade database solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Write efficient and optimized SQL code for high-volume transactional systems (510 million records). - Perform advanced performance tuning, manage transactions, deadlocks, and triggers effectively. - Design and model enterprise-grade relational databases with strong Entity Relationship (ER) design skills. - Model loosely coupled relational databases capable of handling terabyte/petabyte-scale datasets. - Architect and support large-scale Data Warehouses. - Conceptualize and translate ideas and data streams into efficient and scalable database schemas. - Design and implement ETL transformations using SSIS. - Perform analytics reporting using tools like AWS QuickSight. - Ensure best practices in coding standards and participate in code reviews. - Work with source control tools such as Bitbucket or Git. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical/business users. - Take a business-oriented approach in database design and decision-making.
