Job Title: Manager / Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts Department: Finance Location: Noida About the Role We are a growing startup seeking a hands-on Manager/Assistant Manager - Finance & Accounts to set up and lead our finance function. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting, compliance, financial planning, and cash flow to support rapid business growth. The candidate will play a key role in building robust financial systems, driving process efficiency, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Reporting - Manage end-to-end accounting, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing. - Ensure accurate preparation and timely finalization of financial statements. - Develop and maintain internal control systems and accounting policies. - Prepare and present monthly MIS, variance analysis, and management dashboards. - Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor/customer ledgers, and inter-company transactions. Compliance & Audit - Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Income Tax, MCA, etc.). - Coordinate and liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors. - Maintain updated knowledge of evolving financial regulations and accounting standards. - Ensure proper documentation and compliance readiness for audits and due diligence. Operations & Business Partnering - Work closely with business, HR, and operations teams to align financial practices with company goals. - Oversee vendor management, payment processing, and credit control. - Manage payroll coordination and employee reimbursements in collaboration with HR. Requirements - Qualification: Semi-Qualified CA (Inter CA) with 5-8 years of relevant experience. - Strong understanding of Indian GAAP, accounting standards, taxation, and compliance frameworks. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
