Linux System Administrator

Job Title: Linux Administrator Experience: 5 to 8 Years Work Mode: Remote Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to support and manage enterprise-scale Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat, Oracle Enterprise Linux, or SUSE Linux, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Key Responsibilities: - Perform end-to-end Linux System Administration, including OS patching, incident management, and fulfillment of user requests. - Provide 3rd-level support for all Oracle Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Linux servers within the organization. - Investigate and resolve Incident and Service Request tickets in a timely manner. - Participate in project discussions, change management, problem management, and other meetings to ensure production stability. - Support the evolution of Red Hat/Oracle Enterprise Linux by testing and validating new products, upgrades, and patches. - Participate in Disaster Recovery activities (DR bubble tests) and contribute to infrastructure improvements. - Ensure day-to-day operations, system security, performance, and availability of Linux environments. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat, Oracle, or SUSE Linux. - Strong Linux administration skills including OS patching, system performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system tasks. - Experience with Ansible (CLI and Tower) for configuration management and orchestration. - Experience supporting enterprise-level Linux environments and providing L2/L3 support. - Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
