The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application and server support, scripting, and monitoring, with a keen focus on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement. ---------------------------------------- You'll have opportunity to: - Proactive and reliable in managing infrastructure and application support. - Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and continuous improvement. - Effective communicator and collaborator across cross-functional teams. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence and system reliability. - Provide technical support and maintenance for critical business applications within PCS and Income Solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. - Participate in server maintenance and application upgrade activities. - Handle user queries related to new file transfer setups. - Utilize SQL to query databases for data extraction and analysis, supporting operational and troubleshooting needs. - Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Python. ---------------------------------------- Who You are: 4 to 7 years experience in application and server support, scripting, windows , file transfer tools protocols (SFTP/FTP) and monitoring. Must-Have Skills: - Application Support: Experience supporting enterprise applications including workflow management, messaging systems, and tracking tools. - Windows Server Management: Skilled in provisioning, sizing, and managing Windows Server infrastructure. - Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with system and application monitoring tools. - Scripting & SQL: Proficient in PowerShell, Python, Batch scripting, and strong SQL skills for automation and troubleshooting. - Ticketing Systems: Hands-on experience with incident/change management using tools like ServiceNow or Jira. - File Transfer: Strong knowledge of SFTP/FTP protocols for secure file transfers. ---------------------------------------- Good-to-Have Skills: - Workflow Management Applications: Exposure to platforms like Nautilus (OnBase) or similar. - Server Maintenance & Patching: Experience with vulnerability management, patch deployment, and certificate handling. - Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. - Automation & Modernization: Participation in automation initiatives, application upgrades, and cross-functional modernization efforts. ---------------------------------------- Qualifications: Soft Skills: - Customer and stakeholder oriented - Collaborative and team oriented - Continuous learners focused on building the right thing with the right technology - Solution based problem solvers - Critical and independent thinkers - Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, stakeholder management and communication skills required. - Strong engineering mindset, ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers; operate in an ethical manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, the company's Corporate Code of Ethics, employee handbook, applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures, and other policies of the company. - Possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the Principal Financial Group.
