Overview:

The Radiologist MD DNB DMRD Consultant plays a pivotal role in the healthcare system, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment planning of patients by interpreting medical images. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
- Review and interpret medical images for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare detailed reports on imaging findings for referring physicians.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists to discuss patient cases and treatment options.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain radiological equipment.
- Conduct patient consultations to explain imaging procedures and answer questions.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging techniques.
- Provide educational support and training to junior radiology staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss ongoing cases and quality improvement.
- Engage in continuous medical education through workshops and seminars.
- Participate in research activities to advance the field of radiology.
- Maintain patient records and imaging documentation accurately.
- Act as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries related to radiology.

Required Qualifications:

- MD in Radiology or related field.
- DNB in Radiology or equivalent post-graduate qualification.
- DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiology Diagnosis) certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Proven experience with a variety of imaging technologies and modalities.
- Strong understanding of radiological safety standards.
- Board certification in Radiology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
