We are seeking a skilled BIW Welding Fixture Design Engineer to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in BIW Body-in-White welding fixture design vehicle assembly processes and proficiency in design tools such as CATIA and AutoCAD You will play a critical role in the development of high-quality fixtures that meet stringent automotive manufacturing standards Key Responsibilities Design and develop BIW welding fixtures for automotive components Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand assembly line requirements and ensure fixture compatibility Create detailed 2D and 3D designs using CATIA and AutoCAD Contribute to vehicle assembly line planning with a focus on fixture integration Participate in process design and optimization to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce cycle time Ensure all fixture designs comply with quality cost and safety standards Conduct design reviews tolerance stack-ups and feasibility studies Required Skills and Qualifications Diploma Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proven hands-on experience in BIW welding fixture design Proficient in CATIA V5 and AutoCAD Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and automotive manufacturing standards Experience in process design layout planning and line balancing Good understanding of GD T and manufacturing tolerances Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
