Job Description Job Description HighByte / UNS Functional Tester or Validation Analyst LifeSciences. Location: PAN India Role Summary The HighByte / UNS Functional Tester or Validation Analyst will be responsible for validating industrial data pipelines and UNS (Unified Namespace) integrations within LifeSciences environments. This includes testing HighByte Intelligence Hub configurations, ensuring data integrity across OT/IT layers, and supporting compliance with GxP and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Functional Testing & Validation - Design and execute test cases for UNS data flows, HighByte configurations, and edge-to-cloud integrations. - Validate data mapping, transformation, and contextualization across LifeSciences systems (e.g., MES, LIMS, ERP). - Perform regression, integration, and system testing for UNS-enabled platforms. LifeSciences Compliance - Ensure all validation activities align with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other LifeSciences regulatory frameworks. - Maintain traceability matrices and validation documentation for audit readiness. HighByte & UNS Expertise - Configure and test HighByte Intelligence Hub connectors, models, and payloads. - Validate MQTT, OPC UA, REST API integrations across UNS layers. - Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot UNS data flow issues. Reporting & Documentation - Prepare validation protocols, test scripts, execution logs, and summary reports. - Document defects and coordinate with development teams for resolution. Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with LifeSciences SMEs, QA teams, and automation engineers. - Participate in daily stand-ups, release checkpoints, and internal connects. Required Skills - Experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub, UNS architecture, and industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA). - Strong understanding of LifeSciences systems and regulatory requirements. - Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., ALM, JIRA) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JSON). - Familiarity with edge computing, IoT platforms, and data contextualization. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Computer Science. - 5+ years of experience in validation/testing roles within regulated industries. - Certifications in GAMP 5, ISTQB.
