Peoplesoft Principal Consultant/ Architect

Job Description Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects. PeopleSoft Functional Architect (12+ years of experience) The PeopleSoft Functional Architect should - Possess extensive expertise in PeopleSoft HRMS / FSCM / CS modules and associated business processes. - Demonstrate a deep understanding of business processes, with the ability to guide clients throughout the entire systems development lifecycle. - Have a proven track record in implementing, upgrading, and providing support for PeopleSoft HCM / FSCM / CS. - Have strong knowledge of integrating PeopleSoft HCM / FSCM / CS modules with different applications. - Be highly experienced in all project phases, including fit/gap analysis, configuration, and testing. Responsibilities: - Lead the upgrade / optimization of the PeopleSoft system, ensuring it aligns with client business needs and regulatory standards. - Facilitate functional design sessions, gather requirements, and translate business needs into efficient PeopleSoft solutions. - Engage in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal operational disruption. - Accountable for designing and implementing impactful solutions using PeopleSoft functional expertise. - Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and developers to design, develop, implement, and support complex business solutions. - Partner with client stakeholders to create solutions addressing their business challenges. - Constantly explore opportunities to enhance the process of delivering solutions to clients. PeopleSoft Technical Consultant (8+ years of experience) PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultants (experience in at least 2 of the below suites) - Human Resource Management System(HRMS) - Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) - Campus Solutions (CS) The PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant would be responsible to design, develop, test, deploy, and support PeopleSoft customizations, integrations, and reports using PeopleTools, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment to Oracle/enterprise standards. The resource is expected to have: - Hands-on experience with the technical upgrade and implementation of PeopleSoft HCM/FSCM/CS modules. - Upgrade and new implementation experience with PeopleSoft 9.1 and 9.2 modules - PeopleSoft product experience across multiple PeopleTools versions. - Extensive experience interfacing PS modules with various third-party systems. - Experience designing, building, testing, and documenting customizations interfaces data conversion/load reports. - Experience with the following PeopleSoft Technical tools: - Workflow - PeopleTools - PeopleCode - SQR - Application Engine - Application Messaging - Integration Broker / REST - Component Interface - PS query - Data Mover - Application Package - XML Publisher Roles and Responsibilities would encompass: - Ensure the finished product meets the design objectives and any other appropriate criteria associated with the system requirements. - Produce complete and accurate documentation for work based on program standards. - Create and maintain project artifacts like Technical Design, Unit Test Scripts, Unit Test Logs, RCA for Defects - Work on integrations, reports, customizations etc. - Take ownership of the high-quality design, implementation, and quality of technical development Career Level - IC3
