Role Overview

The Clinical Housekeeping Staff ensures that healthcare facilities maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment. This role is critical to infection control, patient safety, and the overall operational efficiency of clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, waiting areas, treatment rooms, and common areas according to hospital protocols.
- Properly dispose of medical and general waste, adhering to infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Assist in sterilization of medical equipment, instruments, and reusable medical devices.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or breaches in hygiene protocols to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control procedures, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Support the clinical team by ensuring a safe and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in training programs on hospital hygiene, infection control, and safety practices.
