JOB DESCRIPTION COMPANY NAME Platinum Hotel JOB TERMS Field Office Work JOB TITLE Maintenance Assistant CONTACT PERSON Kanal Sevak JOB LOCATION Udaipur CONTACT NO 90999 16943 DEPARTMENT Maintenance Engineering ABOUT US Hotel Platinum Inn has positioned it self as a business centric hotel with a niche in providing state of the art hospitality for corporate guests This modern hotel is strategically located at Anjali Cross Roads Vasna with close proximity to the domestic international airport as well as the railway station Major business districts such as GIDC Ashram road CG Road as well as Ahmadabad s largest shopping mall major cinemas are at comfortable distance There are 35 deluxe rooms measuring 360sq ft thereby matching 5 star category rooms when compared on size All rooms come with king- size beds individual air-conditioned rooms LCD flat screen TV with satellite channels electronic safe writing desk more Silver Dine the hotel s multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant features a vast array of cuisines from Chinese Continental Mexican to Punjabi Gujarat other Indian dishes Food quality taste are two attributes we pride ourselves in Guests can be rest assured of a luxurious experience at budgeted prices JOB OVER VIEW We are seeking an Organized Proactive self motivated and details oriented candidate who would perform the role of The Maintenance Assistant is supporting the maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning of all hotel facilities equipment and infrastructure This role involves performing routine inspections minor repairs and assisting with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff RESPOSIBILITIES DUTIES I General Maintenance Repairs Assist in routine inspections and maintenance of electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems Perform minor repairs on furniture fixtures and equipment Respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff and guests in a timely manner Ensure proper functioning of doors locks lighting and other essential facilities II Preventive Maintenance Support the execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns Keep records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the Maintenance Manager Assist in servicing HVAC systems water heaters and other essential equipment III Plumbing Electrical Support Fix minor plumbing issues like clogged drains leaking faucets or running toilets Replace light bulbs fuses and reset circuit breakers as needed Assist electricians and plumbers with larger repairs or installations IV Safety Compliance Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace hazards Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations including checking fire extinguishers and emergency exits Assist in maintaining security systems and emergency response equipment V Housekeeping Grounds Maintenance Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools Assist with minor landscaping or outdoor maintenance tasks when required Support housekeeping or other departments with furniture moving or repairs as needed VI Inventory Reporting Monitor maintenance supplies and request restocking when necessary Document maintenance activities and report any major equipment failures to the supervisor Maintain proper logs of work done and assist in generating maintenance reports QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS High school diploma or equivalent vocational training in maintenance or a related field is a plus 1-2 years of experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred Freshers can also apply Basic knowledge of electrical plumbing carpentry and mechanical repairs Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork skills Physically fit to handle lifting climbing and standing for extended periods Willingness to work in shifts including weekends and holidays WORK ENVIRONMENT The role involves working indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions Requires occasional lifting of heavy equipment or tools May involve working in confined spaces or at heights Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team and assist in the upkeep of our facilities The ideal candidate will support the maintenance team in various tasks to ensure a safe and functional environment Job Type Full-time Pay Up to 20 000 00 per month Benefits Flexible schedule Schedule Day shift Night shift Work Location In person
