Company Description Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding sealing damping reinforcing and protecting in the building sector and motor vehicle industry Sika has subsidiaries in 101 countries around the world and manufactures in over 300 factories Its more than 27 500 employees generated annual sales of CHF 10 49 billion in 2022 Title Project Manager Department Operations Location Jhagadia Reports To Operations Head South Asia Company Profile Sika is a specialty chemicals company with a leading position in the development and production of systems and products for bonding sealing damping reinforcing and protecting in the building sector and motor vehicle industry Sika has subsidiaries in 103 countries around the world and manufactures in over 400 factories Its more than 33 000 employees generated annual sales of CHF 10 42 Billion in 2022 Overview Initiation and leading large projects at Sika India with the help of own resources and engineering consultants and partners Project management includes scope finalization execution cost management and control site safety management commissioning and startup permitting and licensing Duties and Responsibilities Apply state of the art engineering practices for the project execution Execute project according to approved project budget and schedule Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations along with Engineering and Safety Standards Ensure strict timelines adherence for the Project and ramp up of the Site Establish select train support guide coach supervise and control project team to successfully carry out this project Generate monthly project reports and initiate steering committee meetings Obtain necessary approvals for planning construction and operations of the new plant Establish and get approved by MCM Reg management team and where necessary by KL the project budget and project time line Ensure that the whole project execution maintains safe construction environmental protection and high-quality standard Coordinate with related departments for smooth project execution Initiate and work towards the standardization of production equipment and processes throughout Sika India in close cooperation with the regional management team Preferred Qualifications Experience BE- Mechanical or Chemical 10-15 yrs experience in Engineering Project management PMP certification is necessary Competencies Functional Behavioral Negotiation Influencing Skills Analytical Skills Team player Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience BE- Mechanical or Chemical 10-15 yrs experience in Engineering Project management PMP certification is necessary Additional Information We provide Pickup Drop facility from Bharuch Ankleshwar We also provide free canteen lunch meal
