Tech Lead

Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentora team of software engineers, driving technical excellence and promoting best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to elaborate and estimate user stories, tasks, and defects.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutionsusing the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams todefine software requirements and specifications.
- Participate incode reviewsto ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Contribute toarchitectural decisionsandtechnical designsof software solutions.
- Identify and resolve software defectsand performance issues.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance onbest practices and coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem.

Qualifications:

- 11 to 15 years of professional experiencein software development.
- Strong proficiency inC#and the.NET framework.
- Extensive experience withASP.NET MVC,Web API, andEntity Framework.
- Hands-on experience withfront-end technologieslikeJavaScriptandReact.
- Our applications utilizeC# .Net Corefor the backend andReactfor the frontend, requiring substantial experience in React as a frontend developer.
- Experience with containerization and cloud technologies such asDockerandKubernetes.
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
- Familiarity withCI / CD toolssuch asOctopus, Gitlab, or TeamCityis desirable.
- Experience working withSQL databases(e.g.,SQL Server,Oracle).
- Experience implementingautomated testing platformsand unit tests.
- Proficient in using code versioning tools such asGit,SVN, orMercurial.
- Ability to writeclean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Desired Skills:

- Proven experience intechnically leading an Agile team.
- Excellent knowledge ofAgile principlesand experience working inAgile teams.
- Prior experience in promoting quality in engineering through theShift-Left methodologyor the capability to quickly adapt and guide teams toward this approach.
- Experience in working withincross-cultural environments, collaborating with teams distributed across theUK, Europe, and India.
- Strongproblem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strongcollaboration and communication skills.
