Continue Your Journey Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Principal Senior Design Engineer HVAC to be based in Chennai What we do Petrofac is a leading international service provider to the energy industry with a diverse client portfolio including many of the world s leading energy companies We design build manage and maintain infrastructure for the energy industries Our comprehensive and tailored service offering covers each stage of the project life cycle and a variety of commercial models giving our clients the flexibility they need Equal Opportunities We recruit reward and develop our people based on merit regardless of race nationality religion gender age sexual orientation marital status or disability We value our people and treat everyone who works for or with Petrofac fairly and without discrimination Petrofac is striving to develop a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can contribute We encourage everyone to apply especially those individuals who form part of underrepresented groups Applications are also welcome from candidates who want to discuss flexible working or job-sharing requests Onshore Offshore HVAC Design Engineer with 10 to 15 years experience Developing detailed HVAC System Design by spearheading complete functions which shall include but not limited to performing Heating cooling load calculations design drawings like P IDs D IDs and ducting piping layouts etc Provide inputs for the preparation of platform layouts organize the issuance of engineering drawings and technical documents for Inter-Discipline Checks IDC s coordinate with other engineering discipline in the integration of data inputs Supervise the preparation of technical inquiry requests Inquiry Requisitions to vendors participate in the technical evaluation of vendor bid offers Direct and provide guidance in the Technical Bid Evaluations TBE review vendor drawings and documents Supervise the review of design calculations ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client specifications and are within budgeted costs ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum 10 - 15 years of related experience preferable from a background in working for EPC or consultancy organizations in the of the Oil and Gas Industry Additional Information
