Role Description: We are seeking an experienced NOC Manager to lead our Network Operations Center (NOC) team based in MITC Bangalore. The NOC Manager will report directly to the Global NOC Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of network services and infrastructure, overseeing the team's performance, and ensuring adherence to established processes and KPIs. This role involves managing incident resolution, driving continuous improvements, and implementing automation to reduce repetitive tasks within the NOC. Key Responsibilities - Manage and mentor the NOC team in Bangalore, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development. - Ensure the smooth operation of network services across various technologies, including WAN, Firewall, LAN, and Wi-Fi. - Collaborate with different platforms and teams globally to support operations and ensure effective communication. - Oversee the resolution of issues, ensuring timely follow-up on vendor tickets and coordination with partners and stakeholders. - Monitor and report on NOC performance metrics, driving adherence to KPIs and identifying areas for improvement. - Implement process improvements and automation strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual workload. - Conduct regular reviews of operational processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness. - Lead incident management efforts, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Experience And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience in managing a NOC or similar operational team, with a strong understanding of network technologies and infrastructure. - Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and incident management systems. - Experience in process improvement methodologies and automation tools. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices is a plus.
