Caretaker – Farmhouse

Organization Devodhya Foundation Location Balni Mehath Jhanjharpur Madhubani Bihar Role Overview The Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the farmhouse premises nurturing plants and trees and ensuring proper care of the overall environment The role requires a hands-on individual who is passionate about nature disciplined in farm management and reliable in maintaining the property for smooth day-to-day functioning Key Responsibilities Plant Garden Care Watering weeding pruning and fertilizing plants regularly Applying organic fertilizers compost and neem oil sprays as per schedule Ensuring proper care of flowering plants fruit-bearing plants and medicinal trees Identifying pests or diseases early and coordinating treatment Farmhouse Grounds Maintenance Keeping the farmhouse surroundings clean and organized Taking care of pathways fencing boundary walls and open areas Ensuring the pond and plantation areas are safe and well-kept Seasonal Special Tasks Supporting plantation drives and expansion of green areas Preparing soil beds planting saplings and managing seasonal crops plants Coordinating with the Foundation team during events visits or volunteer programs Reporting Accountability Maintaining a daily log of plant care activities Reporting any issues related to plant health water supply or property damage Coordinating with the Plant Care Boy and other staff if assigned Skills Qualifications Prior experience in gardening farming or caretaking preferred Basic knowledge of plant care fertilizers and pest management Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions Responsible trustworthy and able to work independently Working Hours Compensation Hours Full-time with flexibility during plantation season Compensation 7 000 - 10 000 per month based on experience and skills Benefits Accommodation at farmhouse may be provided if required Growth Learning Opportunities Training in advanced plant care and organic farming methods Opportunity to participate in Devodhya Foundation s community programs Potential to take supervisory role as the plantation projects expand Job Type Full-time Pay 7 086 00 - 8 820 16 per month Work Location In person
