Job Title: Fashion Design Faculty

Responsibilities

- Teach and mentor students in Fashion Design fundamentals, including garment construction, pattern making, draping, textiles, and fashion illustration.
- Deliver engaging lectures, practical workshops, and studio sessions.
- Guide students in portfolio development and creative projects.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends and technologies to enhance the curriculum.
- Support students in preparing for competitions, exhibitions, and industry projects.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, and evaluation.
- Provide career guidance, internships, and placement support to students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize seminars, fashion shows, and guest lectures.

- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field (NIFT/NID or reputed institute preferred).
- Prior teaching/training experience in fashion design (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of fashion illustration, garment construction, CAD tools (CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, CLO3D, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and mentor students with creativity and innovation.
- Industry exposure through fashion shows, design houses, or brand collaborations will be an added advantage.
