We deliver end-to-end obstetrics and gynaecology care, serving the local community with antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services. This is an on-site clinical RMO position for MBBS-qualified doctors focused on hands-on patient care and emergency obstetric management. Role & Responsibilities - Provide on-site inpatient and outpatient obstetrics & gynaecology care including antenatal, labour, delivery and postnatal management. - Manage obstetric emergencies and stabilize patientscoordinate timely referrals and escalation when required. - Assist and support caesarean sections and supervise normal and assisted vaginal deliveries. - Conduct gynaecology consultations, minor procedures, and contribute to family planning and reproductive health clinics. - Maintain accurate clinical documentation, update patient records, and follow hospital protocols for medication, infection control and reporting. - Work collaboratively with nursing staff and senior consultants to ensure continuity of care and participate in on-call rosters. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - MBBS qualification with active registration from State Medical Council / NMC. - Proven clinical experience in obstetrics & gynaecology with prior RMO, ward or OPD responsibilities. - Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and labour management. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Familiarity with peripartum care, antenatal and postnatal protocols, and neonatal stabilization. - Strong clinical documentation practices and adherence to hospital protocols. Preferred - Postgraduate qualification or diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MD/DNB/DGO) or progress toward specialization. - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or equivalent training. - Experience working in a district hospital or community maternity unit and familiarity with basic EMR systems.
