Job Goals - Develop and implement scalable test automation frameworks to enhance efficiency in the software development lifecycle. - Lead the creation and maintenance of robust end-to-end, integration, and UI tests, ensuring comprehensive coverage across applications. - Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to define and refine testable requirements aligned with business goals. - Identify and analyze defects through root-cause analysis, driving preventive solutions and prioritizing quality improvements. - Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to support rapid and reliable software releases. - Champion continuous improvement in QA practices, processes, and tools to foster innovation and excellence across the team. - Stay informed about emerging trends in quality assurance and test automation, applying relevant advancements strategically to the role. Ideal Skills & Capabilities - Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, with a focus on tools such as Cypress or Playwright, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role. - Strong expertise in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions) to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. - In-depth understanding of QA methodologies, including end-to-end, integration, and UI testing, paired with skills in debugging and root-cause analysis. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or REST-assured) and backend service validation. - Familiarity with infrastructure and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) as well as an interest or experience in performance or security testing.
