Job description Some careers shine brighter than others If you re looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role you will A Test Planning Strategy Develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts for Pega CDH applications Collaborate with business analysts decision architects and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios Ensure that testing activities align with the overall project plan and business objectives B Test Execution Validation Perform various types of testing including functional integration regression and performance testing on Pega CDH components Validate Next-Best-Action NBA strategies decision flows and engagement policies to ensure they are working as designed Verify the accuracy and effectiveness of adaptive models and predictive analytics Utilize and validate data flows interaction history and Decision Data Store DDS to ensure data integrity and correct decision outcomes C Defect Management Reporting Identify document track and manage software defects and quality issues using a defect tracking system e g Jira Azure DevOps Communicate test progress results and issues to the project team and stakeholders D Collaboration Process Improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor and close defects Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and best practices within the Pega CDH environment Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives E Automation Desirable Experience with test automation tools e g Selenium Pega s own test automation features to enhance test coverage and efficiency Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements Strong understanding of Pega CDH architecture and its core components e g Next-Best-Action Designer decision strategies adaptive models data flows interaction history Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation and analysis Knowledge of testing methodologies and software development lifecycles SDLC Experience with test management tools e g Jira Zephyr TestRail Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant PCDC or other relevant Pega certifications Experience with API testing e g using Postman Experience in the financial services vertical Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools Experience with cloud platforms e g AWS Azure You ll achieve more when you join HSBC www hsbc com careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by - HSBC Software Development India
