Roles and Responsibilities 1 Food Preparation and Cooking Prepare cook and present high-quality Continental dishes pastas sandwiches grills burgers salads Assemble burrito bowls wraps healthy salads and rice bowls with accuracy and creativity Follow standardized recipes for consistency in flavor presentation and portioning Maintain freshness and quality of all raw materials vegetables sauces proteins dressings 2 Recipe and Station Management Maintain organized prep areas cutting marinating sauce preparations grilling sauteing Innovate and suggest new recipes for bowls wraps and continental specials to upgrade the menu 3 Food Safety and Hygiene Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen ensuring compliance with FSSAI norms Practice proper storage labeling and handling of ingredients to prevent contamination Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines especially during raw food and vegetable handling 4 Quality Control Monitor food stock levels daily and inform the Kitchen Head or Manager for reordering Ensure dishes meet Chai Nagri s presentation taste and portion standards before serving Maintain minimal food wastage through careful portion control and prep planning 5 Team Collaboration Coordinate with Commis chefs and kitchen assistants to ensure timely food preparation Assist other sections during high rush hours if needed team player attitude Train junior chefs in Continental preparation food plating and burrito assembly as required Key Skills Required Expertise in Continental cuisine basics pasta sauces grilling sandwiches salads Knowledge of bowl concepts and Healthy salads Speed consistency and creativity under pressure Good understanding of food plating aesthetics Basic inventory and stock management skills Strong hygiene and food safety knowledge Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Application Question s What is your current salary Our cafe is in Chitkara University Rajpura Can you commute to Rajpura Daily Work Location In person
