Job Title Senior AccountantLocation City State Department Finance AccountingReports To Finance Manager Controller CFOEmployment Type Full-TimeJob Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions This position ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording verifying consolidating and entering transactions The Senior Accountant also assists with financial reporting budgeting and internal and external audits Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP IFRS Reconcile accounts including bank reconciliations intercompany balances and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Ensure timely and accurate preparation of journal entries Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules To look after EPF ESI details of the employees Prepare and review budget vs actual analysis Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures Supervise junior accounting staff if applicable Assist in tax preparation and filings income sales payroll taxes etc Develop financial reports and dashboards for management review Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Master s preferred CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred 5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices GAAP or IFRS Proficiency in accounting software e g QuickBooks SAP Oracle NetSuite Advanced Excel skills pivot tables VLOOKUP macros High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks Preferred Skills Experience in a public accounting firm is a plus Knowledge of ERP systems Experience in financial planning and analysis FP A Familiarity with industry-specific compliance or reporting requirements Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Experience Accounting 3 years Required Work Location In person
