Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead/manage/supervise a function/organization/department/team in the development, and/or implementation and/or execution in their own area of responsibility. Each day, you will be accountable for the delivery of solutions, and enhancements, creating technology roadmaps that align organizational plans with emerging technology solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring efficient service capabilities.

This role is part of the Security Risk and Compliance function of ABB and has global responsibilities. Main stakeholders are senior IS leaders within and outside of Security Risk and Compliance vertical.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Collaborating with the Corporate IS Information Security, Corporate IS Governance Risk and Compliance, IS Consumer Excellence, IS Infosec, IS Domains, Business IS, and 3rd Party IS Suppliers to ensure understanding of existing business requirements, new service demand, security design and roadmap.
- Managing Cloud, Endpoint, Data and Email security verticals and all the services.
- Managing service providers that support your organization in delivering these services
- Maintaining effective governance and relations with OEMs
- Managing budget, forecast and financial health of the vertical
- Delivering and monitoring Information Security services and solutions providing technology protection capabilities across the Cloud and Compute estate of ABB.
- Implementing effective interfaces between local/corporate IS teams for all security activities and, where required, ensures adherence to demands in line to agreed service level agreements (SLAs), and that agreed time, budget and quality specifications are met.
- Implements department's practice expertise leading to improved efficiency or operational functionality.
- Evaluate and implement AI security services for ABB globally.
- Establishes and monitors a comprehensive risk focused monitoring metrics to ensure efficient delivery of security services meeting business requirements.
- Develops and maintains process for interaction and communication between Corporate IS, Business IS, IS Services esp. IS Architecture and IS Domains to enable risk-based decisions.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's, or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related qualification, and/or proven capability through past employment experience.
- 15+ years of Information Security experience with at least 5 years in leading service delivery and security operations.
- Strong people management skills with exposure to global culture.
- Manager or Managers experience preferred.
- Experience with cloud security technologies including CSPM, CNAPP etc. that are used for protecting multiple cloud estates.
- Exposure to AI security tools
- Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate distributed, international teams, experience in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
