Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Joomla-based websites that are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Customize and extend Joomla templates and themes to meet project needs.
- Install, configure, and upgrade Joomla CMS, extensions, and plugins.
- Develop custom Joomla components, modules, and plugins.
- Manage user permissions, content, and site structure within the Joomla environment.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
- Write clean, efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code.
- Optimize website performance and implement SEO best practices.
- Maintain version control using systems like Git.
- Monitor and apply Joomla security updates and patches.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website-related issues.
- Create and manage content templates for content teams.
- Train editors and stakeholders on Joomla CMS usage.
- Perform routine site backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
