Informatica Developer

Design and develop ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IDQ/BDM for enterprise data integration projects.
Extract, transform, and load data from Oracle and various source systems into HDFS and structured zones (Data Lake or EDW).
Implement data ingestion processes from relational databases to HDFS using Informatica and external schedulers (e.g., Control-M, Airflow).
Collaborate with data architects and modelers to align ETL logic with business and data quality rules.
Optimize data pipelines for performance, reusability, and scalability.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and governance throughout the ETL lifecycle.
Conduct unit testing, peer reviews, and production support for deployed jobs.
Maintain technical documentation for workflows and assist with production support and troubleshooting.
5 years of experience in Informatica (PowerCenter / IDQ / BDM).
Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL/PLSQL, and schema design.
Working experience with HDFS, Hive, or similar Hadoop-based storage systems.
Understanding of data lake architecture, partitioning strategies, and batch/real[1]time ingestion.
Experience in performance tuning of Informatica workflows and Oracle queries.
Familiarity with scheduling/orchestration tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Airflow.
Knowledge of data quality, data lineage, and governance best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exposure to Cloudera platform
Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture) techniques.
Basic knowledge of big data ecosystems like Hive, Spark.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
