We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and product teams to ensure clean, reliable, and accessible data for business-critical decisions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and enabling teams with strong data foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to collect, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
- Develop and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and data models for scalability and efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across platforms.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Implement automation and best practices for data integration and workflow management.
- Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices in data engineering.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Expertise with SQL and database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Luigi) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
