Position Summary Level: Solution Advisor Work you'll do: As a Security Consultant, you will be supporting clients with their Cyber Risk needs specifically helping them navigate the journey to the Cloud on the Microsoft Entra ID Platform (formerly Azure Active Directory/Azure AD). This will include: - Conducting security analysis, providing recommendations and configurations for prospective clients Microsoft Entra ID platforms and environments, this can include Microsoft's Cloud solutions such Entra ID, Microsoft MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, B2B and B2C and on-premise Active Directory - Architecting, designing, and implementing large-scale Entra ID deployments/migrations/upgrades. - Performing technical and configuration health checks for the Entra ID platforms/environments prior to broader deployments based on various Industry standard e.g., CIS, CISA, NIST and client's business and compliance needs. - Supporting proof of concept and production deployments of various Microsoft identity features and capabilities. - Assisting clients with transitions to the Microsoft Entra ID services such as tenant setup and service configuration, focused on Cloud cyber risk mitigation. Additional technologies include Microsoft MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, PIM, B2B and B2C. - Assisting clients with configuring Entra B2B, External ID environment setup security configuration including cross tenant sync, managing External Identity Lifecycle with access reviews and entitle management configuration Sign in and Sign-up flow for consumer applications. - Assisting clients with Migrating applications (legacy platforms or other) to Entra ID for Single Sign On and additional security measures. - Assisting clients cleaning up the Active Directory environment and prepare them for Entra ID/M365 migration as needed. - Assisting clients with configuration and delivery of custom Identity security and compliance reports. - Assisting clients with configuration and delivery of Azure Advanced Threat Protection. - Providing technical support for Entra ID services and resolving service-related issues through research and troubleshooting and working with client stakeholders and vendor teams as needed. - Implementation of industry leading practices around Entra ID cyber risks and Cloud security for clients. - Troubleshooting system level problems in a multi-vendor, multi-protocol network environment. - Documenting platform technical issues, analysis, client communication, and resolution as part of cyber risk mitigation steps. - Executing on Entra ID Cloud security engagements during different phases of the lifecycle assess, design, and implementation & post implementation reviews. - Using PowerShell scripting to automate Microsoft Entra ID tasks. - Analyzing and reviewing DNS, DHCP, Group Policy etc. - Providing internal technical training to team members as needed. - Supporting Managed Services team on client calls as necessary. - Contributing to eminence activities, such as Point Of Views pertaining to Microsoft IAM technologies. Services include security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products. Examples of work include Secure by Design, Cloud Security Orchestration & Automation, Core Infrastructure Security, and Secure Software Enablement. Qualifications Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - 3+ years of experience in technical consulting, client problem solving and designing and implementing Microsoft Identity solutions. Working experience in at least one of the areas listed below. - 3+ years of hands-on technical experience enterprise-with Microsoft Identity and Access management and EMS services (Entra ID, Entra ID premium solutions, conditional access, SSO, MFA, PAM/PIM, and third party IAM solution integration with Entra) in implementation and operations. This should include designing and implementing Entra ID and its associated security features for organizations including integrations with applications. Ideally the following technical experience: - 2+ years of working with IAM Protocols such as WS-Fed, SAML, OpenID Connect and OAuth. - 2+ years of hands-on technical experience implementing IAM focused security solutions for Microsoft technologies - 2+ years of working knowledge with Azure Advanced Threat Protection. Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications: - Certifications such as: Microsoft new roles-based certifications, SC-300, AZ-500,AZ-800, AZ-801, SC-100,CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, CCNP, CCNA certification a plus. Education: - B.Tech/BE/BCA/MCA Degree required. Ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology.
