Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong knowledge of industrial automation, control panel design, and PLC programming to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining electrical control systems for industrial applications. The role involves working on live projects, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues at customer sites, and ensuring the successful execution of automation solutions.The primary job location is Chennai, but the role requires frequent travel to other states based on project requirements and customer service needs.Key Responsibilities1. Industrial Automation and Control SystemsDesign, develop, and implement automation solutions for various industrial applications.Work on PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Delta, etc.) and configure logic as per project requirements.Integrate SCADA, HMI, and other industrial software tools into automation systems.Test and validate system performance to ensure optimal functionality.2. Control Panel Design and DevelopmentDesign and develop electrical control panels based on client specifications and project needs.Prepare schematic diagrams, wiring layouts, and panel assembly drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software.Select appropriate electrical components, drives, relays, sensors, circuit breakers, and protective devices.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.3. Project Execution and Site SupportOversee on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of automation systems and control panels.Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors for timely project execution.Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers and technicians.Perform preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and modifications when required.4. Troubleshooting and Customer ServiceDiagnose and resolve technical issues related to control panels, PLCs, sensors, motors, and drives.Respond quickly to customer service calls and provide on-site troubleshooting support.Ensure minimal downtime and provide effective solutions to operational issues.Maintain detailed service reports and feedback for continuous improvement.5.
