Company Description MokshaPay aims to bring financial freedom to individuals across Bharat by offering instant personal loans ranging from 5,000 to 2,00,000 through seamless bank transfers and flexible EMI options. Our platform is designed to support first-time credit users, even those without a credit history, by integrating with CIBIL to help build and grow credit scores. With a mission to empower individuals in Tier 1 to Tier 4 towns, we prioritize trust and long-term financial well-being with every user interaction. Co-Founder (Fintech & Lending Operations) MokshaPay Role Overview We're looking for a Co-Founder with a strong fintech and lending background to help scale MokshaPay from MVP to a high-growth business. This person will work closely with the founding team to shape the product vision, manage NBFC relationships, streamline loan lifecycle operations and drive early revenue and customer traction. Key Responsibilities Lead fintech operations & compliance Oversee loan disbursal, underwriting, KYC flows, CIBIL integration, collections and data governance. Build and manage NBFC partnerships Own relationships with partner NBFCs, negotiate terms and ensure lending operations are compliant and scalable. Drive strategy & execution Collaborate on product roadmap, lending policies, risk models and go-to-market strategies. Lead team and culture Help define the hiring plan, mentor early team members and create a high-performance culture. Ensure regulatory alignment Work with legal and compliance teams to meet RBI norms, privacy laws and data-sharing frameworks. Fundraising support Participate in investor conversations, prepare financial and business plans and represent the company to VCs. Required Experience & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in fintech or digital lending Strong exposure to lending ops, underwriting, KYC and compliance Solid experience in working with NBFCs or regulated entities Proven ownership of fintech product or business-side scaling Understanding of risk, repayments, credit scoring and disbursement flows Hands-on with fintech tech stack, dashboards and API integrations Ability to lead ambiguity-heavy fast-paced execution cycles Ideal Fit Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action Strong first-principles thinker with a get-it-done attitude Comfortable in 01 setups and rapid experimentation Passionate about solving real credit access problems in India Location & Equity Remote - Significant equity stake (based on contribution and stage)
