As a part of the team, you will deliver technology stack, using strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand the business requirements and deliver quality solutions. You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders. To be successful as a Automation Tester you should have experience with: - In Depth Experience in Java 8 and above. - Functional testing experience and good hands on experience in Test Automation of industry standard framework such as Cucumber, Selenium. - InDepth knowledge of Testing tools used for Java, Java script. - Experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously. - Good Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and good exposure to Agile methodology. - In depth knowledge of and proven track record in software testing lifecycle. - A proven track record of testing in an agile/iterative environment (DevOps, SCRUM, TDD). Some Other Highly Valued Skills Include - Experience with TDD testing framework. - Experience with JIRA for Project and task tracking. - Experience with SQL. - Manage & support QA process and schedule. - Ensuring adaption of Agile & DevOps methodologies. - Working with test manager to agree release schedules. This role is based in Pune. Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities - Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. - Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives. - Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. - Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. - Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
