Job Description Key responsibilities : - Inspect and test products:Perform inspections on incoming parts, in-process components, and final products to check for defects or deviations from specifications. - Use measurement and testing equipment:Utilize various tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to measure dimensions and ensure products meet quality standards. - Interpret documentation:Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control plans to understand quality expectations. - Document findings:Accurately record inspection results, including data on defective products, and prepare reports for management. - Identify and segregate defects:Tag and set aside any suspect or defective products and document their location for disposition. - Monitor production:Observe the production process to ensure it meets quality standards and recommend adjustments as needed. - Communicate with teams:Work with and provide feedback to production line operators, engineers, and management on quality standards and issues. - Maintain equipment:Assist with the calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy. - Ensure safety compliance:Adhere to and help enforce safety regulations and procedures in the work area. - Must have minimum 1 year experience in quality.
