Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to manage end-to-end data processes — from collection and cleaning to analysis and visualization. The role involves developing scalable data pipelines, building data warehouse solutions, and creating interactive dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. You'll work with SQL, Python/R, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and translate business needs into technical solutions. A strong understanding of data modeling, automation, and coding best practices is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms to uncover insights and trends. - Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize complex data and present findings to stakeholders. - Defining and building data warehouse and reporting solutions - Preparing high level documentation to be interpreted and understood by technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics). - Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R. - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and SQL (On-prem/Cloud). - Strong MySQL development skills, including debugging and troubleshooting. - Experience in building Power BI or Tableau dashboards from raw data, including data structure optimization and visualization. - Solid understanding of relational database design and performance optimization. - Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Experience working in a continuous integration environment with automated builds, deployment, and testing. - Knowledge of coding best practices, design patterns, version control, dependency management, optimization, error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
