Key responsibilities include transforming design concepts into precise, manufacturable models, collaborating with design and production teams, ensuring design feasibility, and understanding material properties and manufacturing processes. This role requires a creative mindset, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in relevant CAD software, and a strong understanding of the jewelry production lifecycle. Key Responsibilities3D Modeling: Develop precise and detailed 3D models of jewelry pieces using specialized CAD software. Concept to Creation: Translate design ideas, sketches, and concepts into technically sound 3D models suitable for production. Technical Documentation: Create accurate technical drawings, specifications, and bill of materials needed for manufacturing. Rendering & Visualization: Generate high-quality, photorealistic 3D renders for client presentations, internal approvals, and marketing. Collaboration: Work closely with jewelry designers, production staff, and other teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility. Design Development: Contribute to the development of new, innovative, and market-driven jewelry designs. Manufacturing Insights: Maintain an understanding of jewelry construction, material properties (like diamonds), and casting processes to ensure designs can be manufactured efficiently. Required Skills and QualificationsCAD Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush, or similar. Technical Drawing: Ability to produce detailed and accurate technical drawings and specifications. Detail Orientation: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in every aspect of the design.
