Azure Backend Engineer to join the XR R D team at Novo Nordisk Engineering Are you passionate about designing and developing robust backend solutions Excited about optimizing cloud infrastructure using your Azure expertise If so we want to hear from you Make your ability count at NNE We are experts in end-to-end pharma engineering and we design and build pharma facilities that are essential for millions of patients all over the world Our success is built on our relationships both with our colleagues and our customers If you are passionate about working for a noble cause on projects shaping the future of sustainable and intelligent pharma facilities NNE is the place to be Why you should join us We are looking for an Azure Backend Engineer to join our team of Unity developers As a team we are working on creating innovative solutions and tools using the Unity game-engine to enhance engineering processes and workflows Our work supports NNE engineers in designing and constructing the world s most advanced pharmaceutical production facilities Why do we need you Our goal is to simplify complexity making detailed engineering data accessible and intuitive for users Your role will be key in designing top-notch backend solutions ensuring our applications run securely and smoothly Location Bangalore India Experience Min 3years Department Engineering Systems Main Roles Responsibilities As an Azure Backend Engineer you ll be Designing building and documenting REST APIs using Azure Functions and API Management Modelling querying and optimizing engineering data in Cosmos DB like partitioning indexing and tuning for performance cost Creating ETL pipelines in Azure Functions to ingest data assets and transform them for real-time use Securing services with Azure Entra ID implementing authentication flows i e OAuth2 role-based access and token lifecycle management Shipping infrastructure as code in Bicep and automate CI CD with Azure DevOps build test deploy Monitoring troubleshooting and continuously improving production workloads Application Insights Collaborating daily other developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality Preferred Competencies We care about who you are as a person In the end how you work and your energy is what impacts the results we achieve as a team As a person you are You thrive working in smaller teams Able to build good relations with colleagues and stakeholders in the organization Having good cross-cultural understanding and fluency in written and spoken English are essential -
