Mechnical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer - Production Fabrication Unit will be responsible for overseeing and managing fabrication activities ensuring production targets are met with high quality cost-effectiveness and within the scheduled timelines The role requires hands-on knowledge of welding cutting forming and assembly processes along with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams Key Responsibilities Plan schedule and monitor production activities in the fabrication shop Supervise and ensure efficient execution of welding cutting bending and assembly operations Interpret fabrication drawings and ensure correct implementation on the shop floor Maintain production documentation including daily production reports rejection logs and quality checks Monitor machine and manpower utilization to optimize efficiency Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards Coordinate with the design quality and maintenance departments to resolve technical or process issues Assist in the procurement of raw materials and consumables related to fabrication Skills Competencies Strong understanding of fabrication processes - welding cutting forming etc Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication schematics Familiar with material handling and inventory management Knowledge of production planning software ERP SAP etc is a plus Good communication leadership and problem-solving skills Awareness of workplace safety protocols and quality management systems Preferred - Local Candidate Bhilai Durg Raipur Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 22 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Yearly bonus Education Diploma Preferred Experience Production planning 1 year Preferred Location Bhilai Chhattisgarh Preferred Work Location In person
