we help companies across industries get ahead and stay ahead Powered by curiosity courage and innovation our teams implement data technology and AI to create tomorrow today Get to know us at genpact com and on LinkedIn X YouTube and Facebook Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Business Analyst In this role we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Technology Business Analyst to lead internal and client cross-functional teams in strategizing planning and executing various business requirements focused on the insurance industry The ideal candidate will have relevant years of experience They will need to be accountable for their assignments and drive requirements through client meetings fact-finding and data analysis This role requires creative problem-solving skills to develop appropriate solutions or recommendations and act as the conduit between the client team and our internal delivery team Responsibilities Collect and solution client business requirements Assist the product manager in collecting and defining product-specific requirements Capture requirements in the form of epics user stories and use cases including user acceptance scenarios Serve as the conduit between the client and our internal delivery teams for all business requirements Ensure development and QA teams understand the complete solution to execute their responsibilities effectively Coordinate with the client to ensure all requirements are collected and defined to their satisfaction and approval Support development teams throughout the development lifecycle including QA and client UAT testers by investigating issues and addressing questions raised by users Create documentation in multiple outputs including JIRA use cases client user guides and more Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to present solutions to the broader team with clarity Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into solutions risk policy process data and technology Knowledge of the insurance domain Ability to capture high and low-level business requirements including functional and non-functional requirements epics use cases or user stories based on document reviews procedures and client subject matter interviews Ability to facilitate client working sessions with multiple subject matter experts to extract and document specific requirements Ability to resolve conflicting requirements product vs client solution and capture business user approval of documented requirements Knowledge of the software development lifecycle Preferred Qualifications Skills Knowledge of the insurance or commercial banking industry Knowledge of the agile development lifecycle Experience using JIRA Confluence and all MS Office tools Why join Genpact Lead AI-first transformation -
