Scope Of Work We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in Finance/Commercial Business Intelligence (BI) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development, including a deep understanding of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), as well as experience working on BI projects within the finance or commercial domains. You will be responsible for building advanced BI solutions, performing data modelling, and creating insightful dashboards and reports to help our business stakeholders make data-driven decisions. Job Description : About the Role We are looking for an experienced Commercial and Finance Dashboard Specialist to design, develop, and optimize dashboards that drive insights into financial and commercial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of business metrics, and a problem-solving mindset to turn data into actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities 1. Dashboard Development & Maintenance: - Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. - Implement best practices for direct query and import modes, ensuring scalability and performance. - Optimize dashboards for large datasets to provide seamless user experiences. 1. Data Transformation & Modelling: - Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) operations using tools like Power Query or custom SQL queries. - Create and maintain relationships between disparate data sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Handle complex DAX queries for custom calculations and advanced analytics. 1. Business Analysis & Reporting: - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand commercial and financial requirements. - Develop KPIs and metrics aligned with business goals to enable data-driven decision-making. - Provide insights into trends, performance, and anomalies through advanced visuals and reports. 1. Performance Optimization: - Address issues like slow report loading or refresh delays by troubleshooting data models and queries. - Handle challenges such as many-to-many relationships and missing data records efficiently. 1. Integration & Collaboration: - Integrate dashboards with CRMs, ERPs (e.g., SAP), and other enterprise systems. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and alignment of reports. 1. Documentation & Support: - Maintain comprehensive documentation for dashboards, queries, and workflows. - Provide training and support to end-users for effective utilization of dashboards. Required Skills & Qualifications - Technical Expertise: - Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools. - Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and SQL. - Familiarity with CRM and ERP integrations (e.g., SAP).
