We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering. In This Role, You Will - Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform focussed on supporting Tooling deployment - Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate - Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews - Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents - Consultation on customer code development - Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration - Support deployment and configuration of new, and upgrades to existing estate management tools Qualifications - External To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Highly experienced in Automation technologies Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform - Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable - Experience of Package management creating and understanding rpms - Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable - Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines - Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence You'll achieve more when you join HSBC. www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
