The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in medical coding, ensuring accurate assignment of codes for diagnoses and procedures, and maintaining compliance with coding standards. Responsibilities - Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures using IPDRG methodology. - Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations in India. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in documentation. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding practices and updates in IPDRG standards. - Assist in coding audits and quality assurance processes to improve coding accuracy. Skills and Qualifications - 1-3 years of experience in medical coding, specifically with IPDRG systems. - Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent). - Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare regulations. - Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record systems. - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
