Were looking for a full-stack engineer who moves fast and thrives in high-velocity environments. Youre the kind of person who sees a broken workflow, understands the root cause quickly, and ships a fix in hoursnot weeks. You love turning ambiguity into working software, and you dont wait around for perfect specs to start building.

Youre a generalist whos just as comfortable spinning up a backend service as you are crafting a clean, responsive UI. You sweat the details, but never let them block progress. You think in terms of speed, value, and iterationalways asking: how can we get this in front of users faster

As one of our earliest engineers, youll help shape the core product and infrastructure. Youll work closely with design, ML, and actual tax pros to reinvent how this industry worksby shipping fast, learning fast, and doing what others said couldnt be done.

Our product and engineering team is based in Stockholm. Were prioritising local candidates, but will consider candidates from elsewhere in the EU, who can travel to Stockholm.

Your Hard Skillset

- Deep experience across backend and frontend systems
- Fluency in TypeScript, Python, or similar modern stacks
- Comfortable with infra, APIs, databases, and debugging messy edge cases
- Bonus if youve used AI tools to accelerate development
- Even bigger bonus if youve worked in regulated or high-trust domains

- Comfortable being uncomfortable and making calls with incomplete data

Growth And Levels

We operate on six levels, from Level 1 to Level 6. Each reflects increasing ownership, impact, and scope with meaningful jumps in salary and equity.

We review levels every 4 months. Promotions are based on output and ownership, not tenure.

This isnt a comfy engineering role. Its fast, focused, and customer-obsessed.
