Responsibilities and DutiesPiano/Keyboard TeacherShould be versatile in teaching the forms of western, Indian and Bollywood. Should be passionate about Music and should be Patient, good listener and possess good teaching skills for all age groups.Key SkillsLooking for a good Piano/Keyboard teacher with a strong base of instrument learning and playing in the western and Indian styles and also who believes in the Guru Shishya Parampara. Professionally qualified teacher (through Trinity preferred) who believes and is dedicated to imparting the music training amongst the generation, can work on Chords, Rhythms, Match to Vocal Octaves (low, middle and high).Required Experience and QualificationsHas Teaching ExperienceFemale candidate preferredKey Skills and Competencies: 1. Musical Expertise Proficient in playing piano/keyboard with technical accuracy and musical expression. Knowledge of various genres (classical, jazz, pop, contemporary, gospel, etc.). Strong understanding of music theory, harmony, and composition basics. 2. Teaching Ability Patience and adaptability to teach different age groups and learning speeds. Time Management Efficient planning of lessons to ensure steady progress. Balancing theory and practical exercises within the allotted time. Punctuality and consistency in conducting classes. 5. Organizational Skills Keeping track of student schedules, practice assignments, and performance dates. Maintaining an organized learning environment with necessary materials ready. 6. Creativity and Innovation Introducing games, interactive exercises, and new songs to make learning fun. Using technology like MIDI keyboards, music software, or online learning platforms for enhanced engagement. 7. Performance Skills Ability to perform confidently in front of audiences. Demonstrating stage etiquette and expression for students to emulate. 8. Emotional Intelligence Understanding when to challenge and when to encourage a student.
